Clare Wilson
As the current VP of Culinary and R&D for Jason’s Deli, Clare manages a team responsible for the menu pipeline, ingredient R&D, equipment testing, packaging, food safety and quality, nutrition, menu pricing, and testing for the nationwide enterprise. A fan of “restless creativity”, Clare loves to challenge the status quo, revamp systems and processes, and is always dreaming of the next great product.
A 20-year industry veteran, she has worked at the world’s largest restaurant company (Yum Brands), the world’s largest convenience store (7-Eleven), and the world’s largest family entertainment center (CEC Entertainment) in roles focused on culinary innovation, commercialization, quality assurance, new concept testing, sensory testing, and menu development.
Clare holds a degree from The Ohio State University specializing in food science and agriculture and participates as a leader with The Culinary Institute of America Healthy Menus R&D Collaborative. She sits on expert panels for interviews in her field at various conferences, and she is active in culinary education. Clare currently lives in Dallas, TX with her high school sweetheart Bob, and loves to travel, eat, read, and cook.
