Brad Cecchi is the Executive Chef and Co-Founder of Humble Concepts, a restaurant and consulting group based in Sacramento, California. In 2017 Brad opened Canon, a dining destination in East Sacramento offering unexpected dishes in an unpretentious setting. Since opening its doors, Canon has earned several accolades, including Michelin’s Bib Gourmand and a 4-star review from the Sacramento Bee.

In 2022, Brad and his business partner Clay Nutting opened Franquette, a French cafe in West Sacramento. Franquette opened to great fanfare and became a lightning rod for the burgeoning Bridge District. 

In 2024 Humble Concepts joined forces with the team behind the beloved Mexican restaurant Nixtaco in Roseville, California, to established Cantina Pedregal in Folsom, California. Pedregal is a contemporary cantina, specializing in Northeastern Mexican cuisine, highlighting flavors of Monterrey and showcasing creative takes on spirits and cocktails of Mexico.

Previously, Brad was the Chef de Cuisine and then Executive Chef at SolBar, the eight-time Michelin Star-winning restaurant set within Calistoga, California’s luxurious Solage Resort and Spa. During his tenure, Solbar earned a Michelin Star both in 2016 and 2017 and the prestigious Forbes Five Star Award in 2017. 

In 2020, Brad, his business partner Clay, and restauranteur (and fellow Potato Glory Culinary Council member) Chef Patrick Mulvaney founded Family Meal Sacramento, a philanthropic program focused on food insecurity. Family Meal Sacramento is responsible for more than 2 million meals served to those in need in the Sacramento Region.
